US Seeks GPS Alternative November 1, 2013

A recent Defense News article suggests the U.S. military is looking to strengthen the security of the transmissions from the space-based Global Positioning System (GPS) and perhaps even examining alternatives to lessen the military’s dependence on the system.  See http://www.defensenews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2013310290012.
