Considering the Code of Conduct February 21, 2012

Days after an Obama State Department offical seemed to indicate that U.S. consideration of the Code of Conduct for Space was basically dead, the course was reversed and senior officials at State, Defense, and the White House endorsed the development of an “International Code of Conduct.”  What that means is unclear.

The EU is planning meetings this year.  State Department officials will attempt to clarify the U.S. position.  More details will surely follow in the weeks ahead.
